Refund policy

Don Barber Film Production provides customized marketing consulting, brand development, digital marketing strategy, content creation, corporate video production, advertising, and creative consulting services. Because each project is planned and delivered specifically for the client, returns and refunds are handled differently from physical retail purchases.

Custom Services

All services are custom and are based on the agreed project scope, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms. Once work has begun, payments made for completed work, allocated production time, strategy, creative development, consultation, or other project activity are nonrefundable.

Cancellations Before Work Begins

If you need to cancel a project before work has started, contact Don Barber Film Production as soon as possible. Any refund will be reviewed based on the work already completed, time reserved, planning performed, administrative costs, and any third party expenses already incurred.

If no work has begun and no nonrecoverable costs have been incurred, Don Barber Film Production may issue a refund for the unused portion of the payment.

Refund Requests

If you believe there is an issue with a delivered service, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include your name, project details, invoice or payment information, and a clear explanation of the concern.

We will review the request in good faith and, where appropriate, work with you to resolve the issue through reasonable revisions, corrections, rescheduling, credit toward future work, or another mutually agreed solution.

Refunds are not provided because of a change of mind, a change in business direction, a delay caused by missing client materials or approvals, or dissatisfaction based on work that falls outside the agreed project scope.

Revisions and Deliverables

Revision requests must be submitted within the revision period stated in your project agreement, proposal, or invoice. Revisions included in the approved scope will be completed in accordance with that agreement.

Additional revisions, requests outside the approved scope, new concepts, reshoots, major changes after approval, or additional deliverables may require a separate quote and payment.

Video Production and Content Work

For video production, photography, content creation, and similar creative services, payments covering pre-production, planning, filming, editing, travel, equipment, crew time, location fees, talent, props, music licensing, stock assets, or other production costs are nonrefundable once those costs have been committed or the related work has begun.

Completed digital files, creative assets, strategy documents, edited videos, and delivered content cannot be returned once delivered.

Third Party Costs

Third party costs are nonrefundable. These may include advertising spend, media placement, software subscriptions, stock imagery, music licenses, production crew fees, studio or location costs, travel expenses, printing, shipping, permits, and other outside vendor charges.

Project Delays

Clients are responsible for providing required information, assets, feedback, approvals, and access within a reasonable time. Delays caused by missing client materials, late feedback, unavailable representatives, or changes in project direction do not create an automatic right to a refund.

Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible. Approved refunds are generally processed within 7 business days. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact Don Barber Film Production directly so we have an opportunity to review and resolve the matter. Unauthorized chargebacks for completed, delivered, or contractually approved work may be disputed using project records, communications, approvals, invoices, and delivery documentation.

This Return and Refund Policy is subject to the terms of any signed proposal, agreement, statement of work, or invoice. If there is a conflict, the written project agreement will control.
